Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to guide and lead our team of data engineers and drive the design and implementation of data solutions. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architecture that underpin our data analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with the data architecture team to ensure alignment with overall data strategy and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new data technologies and tools that enhance the team’s capabilities.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in data engineering roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in data engineering technologies and tools, including ETL frameworks and data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, cloud platforms, and data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in BFSI domain is a plus.
