We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Governance Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Governance Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data governance solutions that ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across our organization.
Your expertise in data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview, Informatica Data Governance, or similar technologies will be essential in establishing and enforcing data governance policies, standards, and processes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data stewards, data owners, and stakeholders, to understand data governance requirements and design effective solutions.
- Implement and maintain data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview, Informatica Data Governance, or similar solutions to manage data assets, metadata, and data lineage.
- Configure and customize data governance tools to align with organizational policies, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain data governance workflows, including data quality rules, data classification, and data access controls.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data governance processes are integrated into data pipelines and analytics initiatives.
- Conduct data governance assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
- Provide training and support to users on data governance tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data governance roles, with a strong focus on Collibra, Alation, Azure Purview, Informatica Data Governance, or similar data governance tools.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, data lineage, data classification, and metadata management.
- Experience with implementing and configuring data governance solutions in complex data environments.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture, and data integration concepts.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
